organic brass polish

It's garden day and I have three lively children visiting, so here's a post that hearkens right out of the "working mom with a political streak" back into "stay at home and make homemade food/garden mom!".  I figured that we'd polish the brass statues in the garden and found this great link to polishing any metal organically (e.g. nontoxically).  It's nice to know that I can use ketchup as a brass polish in a pinch!

Here's another link for "less toxic" cleaners. Hmmn.  Just a little toxic?  The mind boggles.

What's your real estate market going to do?

OK, so I'm slow. But I was just pointed at the December 2006 article in Forbes talking about the projected growth (or not) of top real estate markets in 2007.  I love the visuals. IMHO this is one of the best examples of "best way to get layered information to people using the internet" that I've seen.  Check it out.

I just received this post through a Berkeley Parents Network newsletter, by the way, which contained another neat link.  Do you know bankrate.com?  They let you evaluate credit options. Looks good.  Hint: Don't click on any of the "show me options" links. They are trolling for customers.
